What is your smoking policy?

All interior areas of our ship are non-smoking areas. Passengers who smoke may do so on the outdoor observation decks.

Can you tell me a little bit about the Celebration Belle?

The Celebration Belle is the largest non-gaming riverboat on the Upper Mississippi River, accommodating up to 800 passengers. She is 4 decks tall with 2 enclosed climate controlled dining decks, 2 outer decks for observation, gift shop, 5 fully stocked bars, 2 dance floors, and full galley.

Do you sail in inclement weather?

Absolutely. Our ship is fully enclosed and climate-controlled for your comfort. We sail—rain or shine—all cruising season.

How is seating arranged on board?

All meal cruises have reserve seating, which are assigned by our floor manager. Most tables accommodate two, four or eight people. Each party is usually seated at their own private table, but on some occasion, cabaret seating may apply, meaning that your party may sit with other parties to fill a table. For preferred window seating, please go to the “Celebration Packages and Cruise Enhancements” section on our website.

Can I guarantee a window seat?

Yes. You can purchase a guaranteed window seat in advance for any of our meal cruises. Go to “Celebration Packages and Cruise Enhancements” section on our website.

Will I get seasick?

It is highly unlikely. The Celebration Belle is the largest vessel on the Upper Mississippi River and very stable.

What is boarding time and what is cruising time?

Typically we begin boarding a half-hour prior to the cruise time. Tickets may be picked up at our reservation office any time prior to the cruise.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cruise reservations must be secured with a credit card or advanced payment. If you must cancel a reservations, it must be done 24 hours prior to the cruise. If you cancel the day of the cruise, a $10.00 cancellation fee per person is incurred for Themed Lunch, Narrated Lunch and Dinner cruises and a $30.00/person for All Day and Overnight Cruises. If you fail to show up for the cruise, there are no refunds.

Are reservations required?

Yes, reservations are required for all of our cruises.

What type of payment do you accept?

Payment is required in full at the time the reservation is made. We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept traveler’s checks, money orders, and certified checks. Please make checks or money orders payable to Celebration River Cruises and mail to 2501 River Dr., Moline, IL 61265.

Where can I pick up the cruise tickets?

After tickets are purchased, they may be picked up at anytime at the reservation office.

Will my cell phone work on the cruise?

Yes. For the comfort of other guests, we ask that cell phone conversations be held on the outside decks.

Do you offer packages to make my cruise extra-special?

Yes. We offer several packages that can be added on to your cruise. You can choose from a window seat, bar packages, appetizers, cakes, flowers, and more. Please check out our “Celebration Packages and Cruise Enhancements” section on our website, or call our reservation office (800) 297-0034.

Does the Coast Guard certify the Celebration Belle?

Yes. The Celebration Belle is in accordance with all of certifications of the United States Coast Guard. Safety aboard the Celebration Belle is top priority at all times.

Where will the Celebration Belle cruise?

Typically for the Celebration Belle’s dinner, sightseeing, and lunch cruises departing from Moline, IL, will cruise between Locks #14 and #15. For our longer cruises and departures from other ports, please contact our reservation office for more information.

Are there discounts for children?

Discounts for children ages 3 to 10 years of age. Under 3 are free.

What is the dress code on the Celebration Belle?

For evening cruise events, lunch, sightseeing, themed cruises and all day cruises, the atmosphere is relaxed and casual attire is fine. If you are attending a private event or company function, we recommend checking with your host as to the appropriate attire.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

State law prohibits the Celebration Belle from allowing guests to bring their own beverages on board. We offer a wide range of beverage plans, so there’s one sure to fit your party and your budget.

What kind of dance music do you play?

Our dinner cruises feature a full range of popular music styles from the 60’s to today’s hits.

How do I get to the ship?

What size groups can the Celebration Belle accommodate?

The Celebration Belle can accommodate up to 650 for sit-down meals and non-meal functions for up-to 800 passengers. For groups of 20 or more, please visit our Group Events section of our website or contact our office and speak to someone in group sales at (800) 297-0034. We can assist with all of your planning needs for events ranging from weddings, corporate events, reunions, holiday parties, and school functions. Parties of 19 or less should call toll free (800) 297-0034.

How can I purchase gift certificates?

Gift certificates are available in any denomination and may be purchased by calling our reservation office at (800) 297-0034.

What are the age requirements for children?

Children of all ages are welcome on all of our cruises.

Are dogs allowed on your boats?

Only service dogs are permitted aboard our vessels.
